Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boy Dahlia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dahlia comes to the cage accompanied by For Everything A Reason by Carina Round. Powers has chosen Californication as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Boy Dahlia has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers throws a head kick but Dahlia moves out of range.
Powers scores with a jab to the jaw.

Powers scores with a crisp jab that stopped Dahlia in his tracks.
Dahlia tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Dahlia throws a hook but Powers blocks it.
Powers throws a nice looking combination but Dahlia bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Powers throws a lazy right hand but Dahlia sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A bone on bone clash there as Dahlia blocks the leg kick.

Dahlia swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Powers is now in Dahlia's guard. A big mistake from Dahlia there, giving up the dominant position!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Powers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dahlia's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dahlia dives in and grabs Powers's left leg, looking for a takedown. Powers pushes down on Dahlia's head and hops out.

and Powers counters with a two punch combo.

Powers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dahlia is rocked!
Powers postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Dahlia in real trouble here! The ref calls for Dahlia to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
