The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Kim tenderised Ismail's leg. Ismail is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kim darts in trying to clinch
so Ismail counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ismail drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ismail jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kim is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Kim feints and then cracks Ismail's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ismail down.

Ismail sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Ismail on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
