Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Watts defends it nicely.
Cruz moves in looking to clinch but Watts pushes him off.
Watts gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cruz to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Watts lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cruz!
Watts content just to control the position here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cruz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Watts looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Cruz is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cruz reaches up to try and control the position but Watts seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Cruz rolls and tries to escape and now Watts has his back!
Watts has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Cruz! Can he survive? No! He's out! Watts gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
