Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swartz throws a hook but Rousey avoids it easily.
Swartz dips to his left and cracks Rousey with an uppercut!

and Swartz takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Rousey takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Rousey gets caught flat footed, as Swartz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Swartz throws a series of punches but Rousey moves out of range.
A decent looking cross lands there for Swartz.
Swartz throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rousey counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Rousey dodges the punch combination from Swartz.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Swartz shoots in looking for a takedown. Rousey tries to sprawl out of it but Swartz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rousey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
