Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Mendazedora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Jones!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mendazedora circles away from the clinch attempt
and Mendazedora counters with a low kick, right behind Jones 's knee.
Jones scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mendazedora in his tracks.
Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mendazedora.
Good work by Mendazedora as he checks the leg kick.
Mendazedora really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mendazedora looks to land a body kick but Jones moved away.
A low kick from Mendazedora is predictable there
and Jones counters with an outside leg kick.
Jones throws a leg kick but Mendazedora moved away.
Jones lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jones throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mendazedora tried to score with a low kick but Jones checks it.

Mendazedora misses with a head kick.
Mendazedora throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mendazedora was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones.
Mendazedora motions for Jones to come forward. Mendazedora throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mendazedora goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jones throws a right hand that Mendazedora ducks under and follows up with a left that Mendazedora also avoids with ease.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Mendazedora shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mendazedora throws a half hearted mid kick.
Jones scores a takedown into full mount!
Jones trying to control but Mendazedora is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Poor strikes thrown by Jones there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Jones looking to ground and pound but Mendazedora is blocking nicely.
Jones throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Mendazedora knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones looking to isolate an arm here. Mendazedora doesn't see it coming and as Jones extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Jones!

After the fight, Tom Jones was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
