Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ely Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Gracie!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gracie lands a lovely overhand right.

Scott clinches up against the cage.
Scott looking to slow down the pace here.
Scott keeps control of Gracie as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Gracie drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gracie throws an elbow that misses.
Scott tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Gracie wants to stall.

Scott breaks from the clinch.
Gracie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Gracie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Scott sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Scott clinches up with Gracie and pushes him back against the cage.

Scott tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Scott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Scott is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Scott gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Gracie keeping moving, preventing Scott from controlling successfully.
Gracie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Scott looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Scott is not content to let Gracie control the position.

Gracie is looking for a kimura here.
Scott is looking for a sweep. Gracie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Scott is trying to control but can't.

A close round but Peter Gracie will probably get the nod.

Scott bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
A bone on bone clash there as Gracie blocks the leg kick.
Ely Scott is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Scott looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Scott is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Scott taking a bit of punishment here - Gracie scoring with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scott wants to control but Gracie postures up.
Scott is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Scott keeps working.
Scott is looking to regain half guard here but Gracie keeps moving and retains side control.
Scott takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Scott wants to control but Gracie postures up.

Gracie goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Scott has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gracie but great work by Scott.
Gracie gets back to half guard.
Gracie is in trouble now - Scott has advanced to mount!

Scott is working for a guillotine from mount but Gracie frees his head quite easily.
Gracie is looking to improve his position but Scott isn't that keen on the idea.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Gracie is working to get back to half guard.
Gracie stops Scott from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Scott tries to control but Gracie wriggling away.

Scott working for a guillotine from mount but Gracie is in no mood to give up.
Peter Gracie has got the better of the ground game so far.
Gracie has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Scott controlling well, preventing Gracie from escaping the position.

Gracie manages to reverse the position and now he's in Scott's guard. Nice work there by Gracie.

Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scott has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Scott's legs - danger averted.

Scott working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Scott can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Scott is in trouble now - Gracie has advanced to mount!
Scott tries to hold on but Gracie postures up.
Scott is trying to escape the mount.
Gracie has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Scott's face.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Gracie is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Scott has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Scott!

Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Scott can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gracie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

A close second round but Peter Gracie will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Gracie tries to clinch up
and Scott counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Gracie keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Scott.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gracie lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Scott has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Scott and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Gracie tries to work over Scott's front leg with a kick but Scott checks it.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.
Scott lands with a nice combination. Gracie backs away looking to recover.
Scott wants to clinch.
Scott blocks a jab.
Peter Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gracie closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Gracie is trying to maintain a safe position but Scott gets an underhook and turns Gracie into the cage.

Scott breaks from the clinch.
Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Scott is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Scott circles away and we're back to standing.
Scott displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gracie.
Ely Scott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Gracie.
No luck for Scott with that takedown attempt.
Gracie connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Scott lands with a straight right. Gracie didn't see that one coming.

Scott misses with a series of wild punches.
Gracie throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Gracie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Scott is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gracie pulls his head out easily.
Scott is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Scott doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie.

Gracie sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Scott defending well though.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Scott keeps working.
Gracie working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
