Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ric Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Kramer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davidson comes to the cage accompanied by Bury Your Dead. Ric Davidson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ric Davidson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Damian Kramer!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kramer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Davidson.
Davidson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Davidson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Davidson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kramer throws out the jab.
Damian Kramer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davidson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kramer throws an off balance right hand
and Davidson counters with a three punch combo that has Kramer backing up. Kramer nods at Davidson to acknowledge the strikes.
Davidson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kramer shoots for a takedown but Davidson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Davidson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Kramer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kramer lands in his opponent's guard.

Davidson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kramer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Damian Kramer was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Kramer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Davidson was well out of range. Poor timing from Kramer.

Kramer shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kramer showed some decent athleticism there.
Davidson is trying to stand back up but Kramer is controlling him
Davidson tries to roll over but Kramer keeps him under control.
Kramer winds up and cracks Davidson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Kramer is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Kramer is working for a submission of some sort.
Davidson is trying to stand back up but Kramer is controlling him
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A close round but Damian Kramer will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Davidson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kramer.
Kramer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Davidson.
Davidson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kramer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Davidson moves away.
Davidson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kramer.


It looks like Damian Kramer has been cut.

Kramer darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

and Davidson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kramer is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Davidson rather than just go for the knockout.

Kramer shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Nice takedown defense from Davidson. No joy for Kramer on that attempt.

Davidson won't allow Kramer to pass to mount.
Kramer wants to control but Davidson is keeping him busy.
Kramer winds up and cracks Davidson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Davidson wants to get back to full guard but Kramer has passed into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Davidson is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Davidson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Kramer cracks Davidson with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Davidson is trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kramer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kramer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Davidson is trying to buck Kramer off.
Kramer looks up at the clock and then as Davidson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kramer smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davidson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Kramer missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Kramer trying to pass the guard but Davidson defending well.
Kramer is thwarting Davidson's attempts to control the position.
Davidson is trying to get back to full guard.

Davidson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kramer trying to control from Davidson's half guard. Davidson has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Kramer slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Kramer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Davidson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Davidson is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.

Kramer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Damian Kramer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Kramer is rocked!

Davidson scores with a jab to the jaw.
Kramer is still on wobbly legs! Can Davidson finish him?
Davidson lands an uppercut, right on the button! Kramer tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ric Davidson!
