Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Barack Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Freese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freese has chosen I'm Sexy And I Know It as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Craig Freese!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freese misses the shot to the body.
Freese throws a series of punches but Angle avoids them all with ease.
Angle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Freese's waist but Freese gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Angle off to one side.
Angle keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Freese throws a sloppy head kick and Angle moves out of range easily.
Angle fails with a takedown attempt.
Freese leaves Angle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barack Angle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Angle scores with a takedown into Freese's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Freese kicks Angle off and gets to his feet.

Freese looks to land a body kick but Angle moved away.
Freese chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Freese dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Angle. That did some damage!
Angle throws a series of punches but Freese avoids them all with ease.
Freese connects with a crisp jab.
Angle throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Angle on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Freese lands with an uppercut that bounces Angle off the cage and back into range.
Angle keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Freese scores with a nice head shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Angle gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Freese throws a sloppy head kick and Angle moves out of range easily.
Freese displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Angle.
Angle bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Angle takes one to the side of the head.
Angle tries for a takedown but Freese sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Freese lands a leg kick that knocks Angle off balance momentarily.
Freese defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Angle.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Angle shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Freese as he avoids it easily.
Angle shoots in looking for a takedown. Freese tries to sprawl out of it but Angle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Freese manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Freese takes a swing at Angle's ribcage but misses.
Freese lands with a thumping leg kick.
Freese throws a one two combo.
It looks like Barack Angle has been cut.
Angle blocks a head kick by Freese.
Angle shoots for a takedown but Freese saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Freese throws a head kick that half lands.
Craig Freese seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
That kick from Freese tenderised Angle's leg. Angle is trying to keep his angry face on.
Angle is breathing heavily.
Freese plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Angle is rocked!
Freese drops Angle with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Angle! Freese dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Craig Freese!
Craig Freese is the new middleweight champion!
Craig Freese decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
