The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Raude is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Abott to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Abott shrugs it off.

Raude is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Abott can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Abott postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Raude covers up, he's hurt! Abott keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Abott and the ref steps in to end the fight! Abott can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

A relieved looking David Abott thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
