Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abuabu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Johnson tries to clinch but Abuabu is having none of it.
Abuabu misses with a low kick.
A bone on bone clash there as Johnson blocks the leg kick.
Abuabu avoids the head kick by Johnson.
Johnson tries to clinch there but Abuabu circles away.
Abuabu takes a swing at Johnson's ribcage but misses.
Johnson tries to bum rush Abuabu with a series of wild strikes but Abuabu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Abuabu walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.
Abuabu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Johnson is looking to clinch but Abuabu is avoiding it.
Abuabu works the jab nicely.
Abuabu moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Johnson tries to clinch there but Abuabu circles away.
Johnson cracks Abuabu with an open hand slap.

Abuabu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Johnson.

Johnson wants to clinch up but Abuabu keeps it at a distance.

Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - Abuabu circles away.

Abuabu tries to work over Johnson's front leg with a kick but Johnson checks it.
Abuabu swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Johnson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Abuabu checks it well.

Abuabu keeps the fight on the outside.
A head kick misses from Johnson.
Johnson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Johnson closes the distance and clinches.
Abuabu prevents a body shot from Johnson.
Johnson is leaning against Abuabu and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Abuabu looks gassed!
Johnson pushes Abuabu back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Johnson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Johnson lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Abuabu.
Johnson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Abuabu backwards.
Johnson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Johnson lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Johnson manages to break the clinch.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Abuabu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Johnson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Abuabu tries to keep at a distance but Johnson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Johnson pushes Abuabu back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johnson digs a right hand into Abuabu's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Abuabu's gas tank.
Johnson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Abuabu onto his butt! Abuabu pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.
Abuabu is rocked!
It looks like Biru Abuabu has been cut.
Abuabu drops his guard momentarily, allowing Johnson to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Abuabu! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Johnson takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Junior Johnson!
