The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abuabu moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Abuabu gets tackled into the ropes by Fehlberg. Fehlberg maintains the clinch.
Fehlberg gets through Abuabu's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Fehlberg breaks from the clinch.
Abuabu tries to clinch but Fehlberg moves away

and Fehlberg counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Fehlberg.
Abuabu misses with a punch to the body.
Fehlberg controlling the action here for a moment.
Abuabu wants to get back to striking at distance but Fehlberg won't allow it.
Abuabu takes a shot to the head.
Fehlberg is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Fehlberg escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Abuabu throws a right and a left that both miss.
Runge Fehlberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abuabu attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Fehlberg lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Fehlberg avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Abuabu throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Fehlberg to counter with a crisp jab.
Fehlberg paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Fehlberg rushes Abuabu and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Fehlberg is leaning against Abuabu and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Abuabu looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Fehlberg lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Abuabu backwards.

It looks like Biru Abuabu has been cut.

Fehlberg escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Abuabu on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Fehlberg clinches up with Abuabu and pushes him back against the ropes.
Fehlberg pushes Abuabu back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Fehlberg scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Fehlberg breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Abuabu with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Abuabu looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Abuabu get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!

Runge Fehlberg made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I may struggle with conservative oscillators and be slower than some of my counterparts. However, I will numerically analyze the hell out of this entire field and probably impregnate two or three of your mothers while I'm at it.'.
