And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Russell Pearce and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lion throws a lazy head kick
and Tamland counters with an outside leg kick.
A low kick from Lion misses
and Tamland counters with a solid body kick.
A low kick from Lion misses
and Lion takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tamland throws a shot to the body.
Tamland lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lion.
That kick from Tamland tenderised Lion's leg. Lion is trying to keep his angry face on.

Tamland stuffs the takedown attempt from Lion. Lion gets slowly back to his feet.
Tamland moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tamland lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
An inside leg kick lands from Tamland.
Tamland scores with a hook to the body. Lion takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Lion looks gassed!
Tamland connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Nice straight punches there by Tamland. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tamland.
Brick Tamland is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lion takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Lion shoots in but Tamland avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Brick Tamland has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Deven Lion.
Lion stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tamland.
Lion walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tamland throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lion stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lion takes one to the side of the head.

Lion is rocked!
Tamland chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Lion is trying desperately to land a takedown but Tamland is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Lion.
Tamland scores with a decent looking hook.
Lion is still on wobbly legs! Can Tamland finish him?
The fighters circle, before Tamland throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Lion's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Tamland lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Brick Tamland!
Brick Tamland decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
