Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gary Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Free Win (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Stronger- Kanye West. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith fails with the takedown.

Smith closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Win should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Win tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Smith manages to move to mount!
Smith content just to control the position here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smith looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Smith scoring with strikes but Win is staying in there.
Win tries to buck Smith off but he can't manage it.
Smith controlling the pace for now.
Smith will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Smith landing strikes from the mount and Win is in trouble!
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Win has eaten all the pies!

Smith wants to finish this one by submission but Win is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Smith.
Smith controlling from mount.

Smith looking for a guillotine from mount but Win is having none of it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smith controlling the position easily from mount.
Win 's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Smith controlling the pace for now.

Smith has control of Win 's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Win regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Smith stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Smith fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Win , pushing him back against the cage.
Smith avoiding damage.
Win can't break the clinch.
Smith just leaning against Win , taking a breather.
Win wants to stall.

Smith has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Win is trying to keep an underhook but Smith manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Smith works his way into side control.
Smith landing a few strikes.

Smith has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Win tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Smith moves into the clinch.
Win can't find room to land a body shot as Smith controls the action.

Smith tightens his grip and picks Win up, before dumping him to the ground. Win manages to land in guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Win wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Smith manages to pass to side control.
Win looks gassed!
Smith not doing much here.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Win throws a leg kick
and Smith counters with a three punch combo that has Win backing up. Win nods at Smith to acknowledge the strikes.
Smith tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Win swivels and escapes.
Smith lands with a shot to the body.

Smith bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Smith working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Smith lands a decent elbow from side control.
Smith advances to full mount.
Smith won't let Win get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Win is breathing heavily.

Smith controlling from the full mount.
Smith lands a nice shot to the head.
Win really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Win has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Smith controls the action.
Gary Smith overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Smith is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Win is tapping out! This one is all over!
