The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kopitar throws a shot from downtown. Phillips moves away and avoids it.
Kopitar throws a shot to the body.
Phillips's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kopitar connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Phillips scrambles back to his feet.
Phillips ducks under a wild hook from Kopitar.
Phillips blocks a jab.
Kopitar throws a hook to the side of Phillips's head but Phillips sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Phillips feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kopitar's calf.
Phillips throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kopitar's waist but Kopitar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Phillips off to one side.
Phillips tries to move into range but Kopitar moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kopitar swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Phillips.
Kopitar scores with a shot to the body.
Phillips needs to keep his hands up - Kopitar had a free shot at his head there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Phillips shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kopitar leaves Phillips with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Anze Kopitar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dylan Phillips.
Kopitar bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kopitar tests Phillips's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Kopitar connects with a crisp jab.
Kopitar swings widly with a right hand
and Phillips counters with a thumping low kick.
Kopitar lands a slapping body shot.
Phillips shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kopitar but Kopitar pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Phillips has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kopitar finds it's way round the side to connect with Phillips's head.
Kopitar lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Phillips will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Phillips looks gassed!
Kopitar scores with a jab to the body.
Phillips swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kopitar counters with a straight right hand.
Kopitar misses with a series of wild punches.
Phillips tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kopitar connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Kopitar cracks Phillips with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A shot to the liver by Kopitar. Beautiful body shot.

Kopitar works over Phillips's head and body with a nice combination.

Phillips is rocked!
Kopitar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Phillips.
Phillips is still on wobbly legs! Can Kopitar finish him?
Kopitar throws a big shot that misses.
Phillips tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kopitar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Phillips somewhat.
Kopitar connects with a body shot that sends Phillips's belly button to the back.
Kopitar throws a hook but Phillips avoids it easily.
Phillips seems to have recovered his senses.
Good shot there by Kopitar.
Kopitar is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Phillips takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kopitar drops Phillips with a straight right hand, right on the button! Kopitar follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
