Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lier Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hack Poll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lier Killer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lier Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hack Poll!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killer throws a sloppy head kick and Poll moves out of range easily.
Killer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Poll circles away.

Poll closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Killer to the mat! Killer manages to get full guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Killer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Poll is looking to stand up but Killer won't let him.
Killer trying to keep a closed guard but Poll is proving a slippery customer.

Killer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Poll can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Killer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Poll defends well.
Poll controls from within his opponent's guard.

Killer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Killer has his foot on Poll's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Poll works his way back into a safe position though.
Killer wants to stand up but Poll is controlling him.

Killer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Poll gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Poll wants to control from the top but Killer keeps moving.

Poll throws a big elbow that misses.
Killer keeping moving, preventing Poll from controlling successfully.

Poll stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Poll gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Killer takes a knee to the side of the body.
Killer is breathing heavily.
Poll is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Killer pulls him back up using the underhooks.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Poll scores with a shoulder strike.
Killer wants to get back to striking at distance but Poll won't allow it.

Poll manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Poll looking to control.
Killer trying to control the position from guard on top but Poll is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Poll seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Poll is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Poll not doing much here.
Killer wants to get back to his feet.

Poll is pressing down on Killer's thigh, looking to free his foot. Killer is holding on for now.
Killer trying to control but Poll postures up.
Poll wants to take a breather but Killer is having none of it.
Poll really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Killer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Killer.
Poll misses with a head kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Poll defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Killer.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Killer wants to clinch

and Poll counters with a takedown into side control.
Poll wants to control but Killer is keeping him busy.
Killer struggling a bit here.
Killer is not content to let Poll control the position.
Killer can't do much from the bottom here.

Poll stands up and beckons Killer to his feet.

Poll shoots for a takedown but Killer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Poll is fighting to break Killer's control of his arms but Killer is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Killer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Killer is looking to sinch up a triangle. Poll throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Killer's body to avoid the submission. Killer has instead reached around Poll's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Killer arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
