Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felix Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Goldberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Felix Gonzalez has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Felix Gonzalez seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldberg works over Gonzalez's head and body with a nice combination.
Goldberg avoids the body shot from Gonzalez.
Goldberg stuffs the takedown.
Goldberg ducks under a wild hook from Gonzalez.
Gonzalez swings for the body but Goldberg moves out of range.

Gonzalez shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Gonzalez is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Gonzalez is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Goldberg reverses the position - he's now on top in Gonzalez's guard.

Gonzalez is in all sorts of trouble here.
Goldberg postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Gonzalez looks a forlorn figure.

Gonzalez has hold of Goldberg's hands but Goldberg slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Gonzalez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Goldberg pulls his head out easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Goldberg thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gonzalez's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bill Goldberg dominated that round.

A decent looking cross lands there for Goldberg.

Gonzalez drops his hands momentarily and Goldberg takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Gonzalez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gonzalez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Goldberg sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gonzalez somewhat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gonzalez misses with a two punch combination.
Felix Gonzalez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gonzalez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Goldberg is fending him off so far but Gonzalez persists. Nope, Goldberg circles away and we're back to standing.
Gonzalez takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Gonzalez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Goldberg dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Goldberg sizes up Gonzalez with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Oooooh!!! Goldberg has knocked Gonzalez down with a huge combo! Goldberg steps away and waves a wobbly Gonzalez back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Felix Gonzalez has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Goldberg is stalking Gonzalez. Gonzalez circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Goldberg, and it's lights out! Gonzalez really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
