Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Miguel Cotto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Conner Steven!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cotto dips to his left and cracks Steven with an uppercut!
Steven shoots for a takedown but Cotto saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Steven drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Cotto lands a right hook to the body.
Cotto's corner calls for a 1-2. Cotto obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Steven takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Miguel Cotto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steven wants to clinch up but Cotto keeps it at a distance.
Cotto throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Steven on the side of the head.
Steven needs to keep his hands up - Cotto had a free shot at his head there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Steven is defended easily by Cotto.

Cotto closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Steven is looking to control Cotto's arms but Cotto gets an underhook and turns him. Now Steven has his back to the cage.

Steven has Cotto pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cotto manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Steven is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Cotto connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Steven! He's out on his feet! Cotto rushes in and drops Steven with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
