Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stalking Spider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean McMorrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stalking Spider!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sean McMorrow!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McMorrow looks to land a left hand but Spider moved out of range nicely.
Spider fails with a takedown attempt.
McMorrow throws a jab when Spider was well out of range.
Spider cracks the inside of McMorrow's front leg.
McMorrow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Spider feints and then cracks McMorrow's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McMorrow down.
Spider fails to land the takedown.
McMorrow swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A clash of legs there as McMorrow blocks the low kick.
Spider throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Spider shoots in looking for a takedown. McMorrow tries to sprawl out of it but Spider keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McMorrow manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stalking Spider. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McMorrow fails in his attempt to clinch.
Spider throws a half hearted mid kick.
Spider tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Spider.

McMorrow slips under a jab from Spider.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Let's hope that McMorrow has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

McMorrow controlling from mount.
I looks like McMorrow might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
McMorrow lands a big shot there that rocks Spider but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Spider wants to hold on but McMorrow pushes him away.
McMorrow blocks Spider's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
McMorrow looking to control and managing it successfully.

Spider could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Despite being in the dominant position, Sean McMorrow just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McMorrow lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
McMorrow tries to close the distance and clinch but Spider swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Spider pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McMorrow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Spider swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Spider fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Spider is breathing heavily.

McMorrow forces Spider back against the cage and clinches.
Spider tries for a takedown but McMorrow manages to get underhooks.

Spider has McMorrow pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Spider pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending McMorrow tumbling to the mat - Spider dives into McMorrow's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now McMorrow is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
McMorrow passes easily into side control. Nice work.
McMorrow remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Spider is looking to reverse the position.
McMorrow happy to just control the position for now.
Spider taking a bit of punishment here - McMorrow scoring with strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sean McMorrow dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


McMorrow wants to clinch.
Spider misses the shot to the body.
McMorrow closes the distance looking to clinch
and Spider counters with a right hand to the body.

and Spider counters by clinching up.

Spider breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Spider tries to land a front kick but McMorrow steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Spider lands with an overhand left.
Spider shoots for a double leg takedown but McMorrow sprawls well. He's pushed Spider's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - McMorrow looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Spider takes a body punch but keeps moving.
McMorrow lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.


It looks like Stalking Spider has been cut.
McMorrow misses with a double jab.
McMorrow moves in looking to clinch but Spider pushes him off.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McMorrow throws a good cross that connects.
Spider shoots and misses

and McMorrow shoots in, scooping Spider off his feet. McMorrow is holding his opponent over his shoulder. He slams Spider to the mat and Spider is in big trouble! McMorrow is landing strikes to his unconscious foe and the ref dives in to end the fight! McMorrow is celebrating with his corner and rightfully so.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Sean McMorrow!
