Hopkins's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, She Ain't You by: Chris Brown. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins leaves Ho with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ho throws a poor cross that misses
and Hopkins counters with a two punch combo.
Ho will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nice straight punches there by Hopkins. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hopkins.

It looks like Noah Ho has been cut.
Ho lands with a hook. Hopkins tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

and Hopkins counters with a head kick that drops Ho to the mat! Ho scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Silas Hopkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Noah Ho.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
