The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Bartholemeaux with that takedown attempt.
Bartholemeaux tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ilie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ilie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bartholemeaux is fending him off so far but Ilie persists. Nope, Bartholemeaux circles away and we're back to standing.
Bartholemeaux looks to land a combination but Ilie avoids it well.
Ilie shoots in but no luck this time.
Bartholemeaux lands with a shot to the body.
Bartholemeaux changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ilie tries to avoid it but Bartholemeaux manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ilie to the ground. Ilie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bartholemeaux rushes Ilie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ilie pulls Bartholemeaux into guard.
Ilie is trying to control the position but Bartholemeaux postures up.
Ilie is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Bartholemeaux postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bartholemeaux throwing strikes but missing.
Ilie seems keen to control Bartholemeaux's posture.
Ilie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Dragos Ilie has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Bartholemeaux jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ilie moves out of range as Bartholemeaux strikes.
Ilie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bartholemeaux circles away.
Kingston Bartholemeaux has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dragos Ilie.

and Bartholemeaux counters with a nice uppercut.
