Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyson Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Alb!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown dives in and scores a takedown into Alb's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Brown throws a big right hand that misses.
Brown throwing strikes but missing.
Brown throws an elbow that misses. Alb uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brown's guard. Nice move by Alb!
Alb advances position into side control!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown is looking to improve his position but Alb isn't that keen on the idea.
Alb tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Brown sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Alb perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Peter Alb has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Alb pushes Brown back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Brown's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Alb works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Oh Brown is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Alb pushes Brown back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Alb drops Brown with a big knee straight up the middle! Brown is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Alb moves into the clinch.
A short body shot lands from Alb as the two fighters clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brown tries to keep at a distance but Alb has taken the fight into the clinch.
Brown seems to have got his legs back now.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Alb creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Alb displaying some good clinch control by pressing Brown up against the cage.
Brown has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Alb is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Alb's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Brown wants to take the fight to the mat but Alb manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Brown goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Brown is trying to drag Alb to the mat but Alb just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Alb lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Brown to his knees! Alb keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
