Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doctor Mundo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar has chosen Brock Lesnar Theme Song as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brock Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Lesnar looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mundo is trying to get back to full guard.

Lesnar postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Mundo to stand up.

Lesnar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mundo was covering up waiting for the punch and Lesnar finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mundo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Lesnar decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mundo, up you get!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mundo wants to clinch.
Mundo looks for a takedown but Lesnar sprawls well.

Lesnar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mundo's guard.

Lesnar stands up from Mundo's guard - Lesnar perhaps looking for a knockout.

Mundo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Mundo is working an open guard so Lesnar takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mundo.

Lesnar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lesnar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Mundo fails with a takedown attempt.

Lesnar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mundo to the mat! Mundo manages to get full guard.

Lesnar stands and steps away. Mundo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Mundo is trying to maintain the position but Lesnar is very close to passing his half guard.

Lesnar decides to return to a standing position.
Mundo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lesnar as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doctor Mundo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mundo but Mundo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mundo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lesnar tries to avoid it but Mundo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lesnar to the ground. Lesnar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mundo lands with a nice combination. Lesnar backs away looking to recover.

Lesnar shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Lesnar postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Mundo to stand up.
Lesnar shoots for a double leg takedown but Mundo sprawls well. He's pushed Lesnar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mundo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lesnar swivels and escapes.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mundo is defended easily by Lesnar.
Mundo shoots in looking for a takedown. Lesnar tries to sprawl out of it but Mundo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lesnar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lesnar stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Lesnar stuffs the takedown attempt from Mundo. Mundo gets slowly back to his feet.

Lesnar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mundo's guard.

Mundo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lesnar's waist but Lesnar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mundo off to one side.
