Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JerJer Foley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lord Vladimir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, David Schapiro and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vladimir shoots in for a takedown but Foley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Foley closes the distance and clinches up with Vladimir, looking for a takedown. Foley pushes Vladimir against the cage but Vladimir circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Vladimir fails in his attempt to clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Foley is defended easily by Vladimir.
Good exchange - Vladimir coming out on top.
Vladimir dives in and grabs Foley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Foley pushes down on Vladimir's head and hops out.
Foley displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vladimir.
JerJer Foley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lord Vladimir.

Foley gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Vladimir wants to control from the top but Foley keeps moving.

Foley controlling the position.
Vladimir throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Foley works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Vladimir trying to control the position from guard on top but Foley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Lord Vladimir.

Foley fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vladimir to the ground. Foley is now in Vladimir's guard.
Foley content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Vladimir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Foley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Foley is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

It looks like Lord Vladimir has been cut.

Vladimir looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Foley trying to control but Vladimir is working from the bottom.
Foley works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Foley misses with a head shot. Vladimir uses the momentum to regain guard.
Vladimir will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Foley missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Vladimir is looking to stand back up but Foley counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Vladimir.
Vladimir tries to kick Foley off but Foley keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Foley is nestled in close to Vladimir, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Vladimir has a hand on Foley's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Foley takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Foley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Vladimir working to try and regain half guard.
Vladimir tries to lock up and control but Foley gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Vladimir is trying desperately to improve position.
Foley looking to finish Vladimir with some ground and pound. This is bad for Vladimir!

The cut above Lord Vladimir's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Foley cracks Vladimir with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
