The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kweli rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Simpson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Kweli drops back, looking for a kneebar! Simpson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Simpson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Simpson !

That was a close second round but I would say that Homer Simpson will probably get the nod.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Simpson , as that shot connected.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Simpson , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Homer Simpson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
