Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Unknown Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrewt Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Griffin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Griffin throws a head kick but Fighter moves out of range.
Fighter shoots for a takedown but Griffin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Fighter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Griffin swivels and escapes.

Griffin scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Unknown Fighter has been cut.
Fighter closes the distance and clinches up with Griffin, looking for a takedown. Fighter pushes Griffin against the cage but Griffin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Unknown Fighter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Griffin throws a series of punches but Fighter avoids them all with ease.

Fighter misses the jab.

and Fighter counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Fighter tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Fighter is breathing heavily.
Griffin wants to get back to his feet.

Fighter is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Griffin has escaped the position, nice work there.
Griffin is trying to buck Fighter off.
Fighter advances to mount.
Fighter works his way to his opponent's back.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fighter has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Griffin! Can he survive? No! He's out! Fighter gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
