The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nilson goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Only bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Only working away.
Nilson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Only. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Only working the ground and pound.
Nilson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Only.
Only creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Nilson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Only is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nilson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Only advances to full mount.
Nilson tries to lock up and control but Only gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Nilson is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Only is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Nilson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Only landing strikes, looking to finish!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Only avoids the attempt from Nilson to control.

Only is really struggling to control Nilson but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Nilson is bucking up trying to escape but Only cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Only postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Nilson badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Only around the waist but Only pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Only is the winner by TKO! Only jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Lester Only decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
