Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Xiao Hua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elvis Bika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bika has chosen My Decision as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Xiao Hua has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Xiao Hua seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Hua.
Bika with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hua gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Hua misses with a low kick.
Bika pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
No luck for Bika with that takedown attempt.
Hua connects with a high kick.
Bika throws a front kick that sends Hua stumbling back into the cage.
Hua tries a low kick but Bika avoids it.
Bika throws a leg kick
and Hua counters with a stiff right hand.
Nice cross by Hua.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hua pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Bika thows a body shot but no joy.
Bika scores with the left hand. Hua knows he should have avoided that one.
Bika takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hua throws a body punch but Bika moves out of range.

Hua wants to clinch up but Bika keeps it at a distance.
Bika moves into range and connects with a jab.
Bika misses with a right hand
and Hua counters with a thumping low kick.
Hua lands with a slapping head kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hua.
Hua throws a leg kick but Bika sees it coming and moves out of range.

Bika circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bika throws a big shot that misses.

Bika scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hua moves out of range of the strikes.
Xiao Hua is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hua connects with a high kick.
Hua throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bika throws a body punch but Hua moves out of range.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bika.
Bika throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hua stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Hua makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Hua looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Bika looking for a takedown.
Xiao Hua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Elvis Bika.
Hua goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Bika is trying to maintain a safe position but Hua gets an underhook and turns Bika into the cage.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Hua just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bika's brow.
Bika has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hua is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Hua goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Bika is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hua is keeping busy.
Hua lands an elbow just above Bika 's eye.

Hua pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Hua lands a good knee to the midsection. Bika won't want to take too many of those.
Bika goes for a takedown attempt but Hua pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Hua tries to clinch but Bika is having none of it.
Hua throws a good cross that connects.
Hua gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hua gets underhooks to prevent Bika's takedown attempt.
Bika is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hua is defending well.
Bika tries to throw a body punch but Hua avoids it by throwing Bika back against the cage.

Hua tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Bika avoids it.
Hua lands an elbow that stopped Bika in his tracks for a moment.
Bika changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hua fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bika misses with a hook. Hua ducked under it nicely.

Donk. Hua catches Bika right on the button with a cross.
Hua blocks a jab.

Hua lands with a hook. Bika tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

and Hua counters with a leg kick.
Bika avoids the body shot from Hua.
Bika walks into a straight right hand from Hua.
Bika stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hua.
Hua clinches up against the cage.
Hua pushes off an throws an elbow but Bika leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Hua is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Bika is trying to stall.
A shot in the inside from Hua.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bika swings for the body but Hua moves out of range.

Hua with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bika to score with a decent uppercut.

Bika cracks Hua with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Bika just misses with a punch to the body.
Hua feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bikas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hua throws a series of punches but Bika moves out of range.
Bika works the jab nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bika throws an overhand right that lands on Hua's shoulder, as Hua tries to avoid the shot.
Hua is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Bika misses with a wild body shot.
Bika ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hua moves away.

Still in the clinch, Hua scores with a nice short uppercut.
Bika pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hua tries to clinch but Bika is having none of it.
Bika throws a shot from downtown. Hua moves away and avoids it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Hua looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hua slips under a jab.
Bika changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hua looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bika is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hua's shoulder. That is not cool.
Bika creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

You can see the frustration on Hua's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Elvis Bika showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Xiao Hua has scored more points in the clinch so far.
Bika drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hua pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hua lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Bika falls backwards - clearly groggy! Hua dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Xiao Hua!
Xiao Hua retains his featherweight title!
Xiao Hua was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
