Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kingo Kongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jc Denton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Denton has chosen A bomb! as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kongo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kongo cracks Denton with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Kongo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Denton was well out of range. Poor timing from Kongo.
Kongo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Denton swats him away and circles back towards the center.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kongo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Denton is just content to waste time from the top position. Kongo takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Kongo throws a hook but Denton avoids it easily.

Kongo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Denton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kongo tries to avoid it but Denton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kongo to the ground. Kongo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Kongo here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kongo wants to hold on but Denton pushes him away.

Denton swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kongo is now in Denton's guard. A big mistake from Denton there, giving up the dominant position!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Kongo tries to free his leg and advance position but Denton is retaining full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kongo swings for the body but Denton moves out of range.
Kongo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Denton manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

With the fighters up against the cage, Kongo throws an elbow but misses.
Denton jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kongo walks away with a smile on his face. Denton gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Denton takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
