The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blunts throws a looping overhand right but Minard ducks down to avoid it.
Blunts throws a body punch but Minard moves out of range.
Minard connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Blunts's hands.
Blunts looks to score with a jab to the body but Minard is just out of range.
Ryan Minard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blunts connects with a single shot there.

Minard is rocked!
Blunts tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Minard swivels and escapes.
Minard is still on wobbly legs! Can Blunts finish him?
Minard scores with a nice right hand.
Minard seems to have recovered his senses.
Blunts ducks right into an uppercut from Minard.

Blunts is rocked!
Blunts throws a series of punches but Minard moves out of range.
Minard misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blunts keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Minard.
Minard is looking to clinch.
Minard drops Blunts with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Blunts looks back up at him and smiles so Minard waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Blunts is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Blunts steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Minard.
Blunts tries for a takedown but Minard sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A head kick by Minard - that's a beauty! Blunts is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Minard can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
