Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shanir Shackioorhan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ninja Shogun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shogun closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Shackioorhan to the mat! Shackioorhan manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Shackioorhan drops back, looking for a kneebar! Shogun looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Shogun looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Shogun!

Shackioorhan seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Shogun's chin but Shogun turns very nicely into Shackioorhan's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Shogun.

Shackioorhan isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Shogun stacks Shackioorhan on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Shogun!
