Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Savile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Savile could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Yuri Boyka's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyka looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Savile looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Boyka looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Boyka is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boyka postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Savile is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Boyka, into his guard.
Boyka wants to stand but Savile is controlling the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Boyka scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Boyka shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Savile napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Boyka tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Boyka has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Savile tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Boyka wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Boyka has hold of Savile's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Savile tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Boyka cranks the arm and Savile screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Savile, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Yuri Boyka!
During a confident post fight interview, Yuri Boyka thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
