The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krauss stuffs the takedown attempt from Souza. Souza gets slowly back to his feet.
Krauss throws a nice looking combination but Souza bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Souza.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Souza is trying to get an arm triangle but Krauss is defending well.

Souza is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Krauss knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Souza is looking to take a break and control but Krauss is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Souza is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Krauss looks calm but he's in trouble here. Souza gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Krauss is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Souza lets go of the hold and Krauss can pop his arm back in it's socket.
