Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Will Malkowsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Mac will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac fails with a takedown attempt.

Malkowsky shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mac pinned against the cage. Mac gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Malkowsky is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Mac looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Malkowsky with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Malkowsky is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mac pulls his head out easily.

Malkowsky closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

You can see the frustration on Mac's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Mac lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
