The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Afolabi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Vandalay throws the left hand but Afolabi avoids the punch easily.

No joy there for Afolabi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Good leg kick by Vandalay there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Vandalay keeps Afolabi at a distance using the push kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Vandalay sends Afolabi crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Vandalay is motioning to the referee to let Afolabi up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
