Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Thitawh Kitea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Machete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kitea kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Champion. Thitawh Kitea has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kitea pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Machete is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kitea.
A big left from Kitea misses.
Kitea closes this distance looking for a takedown but Machete circles away.
Machete moves out of range of the strikes.
Kitea uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Machete has time to react.
Machete lands a nice looking body shot.
Machete is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kitea shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Machete pinned against the cage. Machete gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kitea changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Machete tries to avoid it but Kitea manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Machete to the ground. Machete escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thitawh Kitea. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Machete counters with a nice leg kick.
Machete swats away the attempt to clinch by Kitea.

Kitea scores with a sloppy right hand. Machete should have avoided that one.
Kitea throws the left hand but Machete avoids the punch easily.
Machete slips under a jab.
Machete throws a nice outside leg kick.
Machete displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kitea throws out the jab.
Machete moves out of range as Kitea strikes.
Machete throws a right and a left that both miss.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kitea. Machete does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kitea throws a shot from downtown. Machete moves away and avoids it.
Machete ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Kitea fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Both fighters circling a little - Machete finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Kitea is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kitea misses with an uppercut. Machete saw that one coming.
Machete lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kitea circles away quickly and effectively.

Machete slips a straight right by Kitea.
Kitea throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Machete cracks the inside of Kitea's front leg.

Kitea takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Machete fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kitea looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Machete scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Machete ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Machete!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Machete misses with a body shot.
Kitea misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Machete throws a shot to the body.
Machete swings for the body but Kitea moves out of range.
Machete is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kitea rather than just go for the knockout.
Machete lands a really nice looking cross but Kitea seems unphased.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Machete, right into the meat.

Machete misses with a two punch combination.
Kitea is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Machete's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Machete lands a head kick!
A jab from Machete does it's job there.
Machete throws a quick inside leg kick.
Kitea dodges the punch combination from Machete.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Machete pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kitea back to the cage. Machete follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Machete lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kitea circles away quickly and effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank Machete dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Machete.
Kitea is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Kitea throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Machete misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Machete avoids the head kick by Kitea.
Kitea misses with a hook
and Machete counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kitea is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Kitea is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Kitea looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Machete moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Machete moves out of range of the strikes.
Machete takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Machete throws a right and a left that Kitea avoids nicely.
Thitawh Kitea is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kitea is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Machete takes one to the chin there.
Machete digs a good hook to Kitea's body.
Machete fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kitea.

Machete lands a left and a right that send Kitea crashing to the mat, dazed. Machete thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kitea is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Machete drops Kitea with a beautiful combination! Kitea stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Machete is looking for the KO!
Oh Kitea is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kitea has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Machete.

Kitea is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Machete Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Kitea is out cold, face down on the mat!
