Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Crew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyrus Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Crew takes a swing at Black's ribcage but misses.

Crew tries to score a power double leg takedown but Black sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Crew somewhat.
Crew throws a body punch but Black moves out of range.

Crew drives through with a takedown into Black's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Crew slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crew's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Crew seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Black for as long as he can get away with.

Black is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Crew.
Crew shoots in looking for a takedown. Black tries to sprawl out of it but Crew keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Black manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Crew closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Crew has an Americana. Black didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Crew is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Crew hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
