Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Earth Jr fails with the takedown
so Sagat counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Earth Jr controls Sagat momentarily but Sagat frees himself.

Sagat slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Edwin Sagat dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Sagat tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Earth Jr swivels and escapes.
Earth Jr throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sagat keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Earth Jr.
Sagat changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Earth Jr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Sagat misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Sagat is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Earth Jr to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Earth Jr shrugs it off.
Sagat tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Sagat is stalling here. Earth Jr is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Sagat seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Earth Jr has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Earth Jr is working to tighten is grip on Sagat's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Sagat has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Earth Jr is really squeezing tight and eventually Sagat passes out! Earth Jr breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Father Earth Jr is the new super heavyweight champion!
In his post fight interview, Father Earth Jr started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
