Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Larry Glover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Owen Wash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Owen Wash is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Glover . That snapped Wash's head back.
Glover throws a body punch but Wash moves out of range.
Glover throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wash looks to land a body kick but Glover moved away.
Glover defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wash.
Wash avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wash throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Glover stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wash stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Glover swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Glover pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wash back to the cage. Glover follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Glover is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Wash has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Glover uses from the top position.
