Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between CM Punk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Ichiru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Punk comes to the cage accompanied by Booty Work. Punk is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. The key to victory for CM Punk has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punk gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ichiru counters with a nice double leg into side control. Punk won't be happy with that.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Punk is breathing heavily.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Ichiru stands up and beckons Punk to his feet.
Punk checks a leg kick.
Ichiru clinches up with Punk and pushes him back against the cage.
Ichiru pulls guard effortlessly.
Ichiru is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Oh but Ichiru is tightening it up a little... Punk has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Punk reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Punk taps out! Nice BJJ there by Ichiru!
