The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerr fails with the takedown.

Kerr throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Williams was covering up waiting for the punch and Kerr finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Kerr is looking to take a break and control but Williams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kerr lands a strong strike to the head of Williams. That's dazed him! Kerr looking to finish here. Williams is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Kerr lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
