Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corporal Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Makano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanders comes into the arena with "Indestructible" by Disturbed blaring out of the sound system. Corporal Sanders has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanders closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Makano to the mat! Makano manages to get full guard.
Sanders throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Sanders stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Makano swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanders will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Makano wants to sweep but no luck.
Makano is looking to sweep but instead, Sanders has passed into half guard.
Sanders has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Makano tries to get to full guard but Sanders has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sanders prevents Makano from improving his position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nice takedown defense from Makano. No joy for Sanders on that attempt.

Makano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanders. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sanders has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Makano can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
