Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Taco Grande (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billa Bong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bong has chosen Bite Marks - Screeching Weasel as his entrance music. Taco Grande has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Billa Bong!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bong gets tackled into the cage by Grande. Grande maintains the clinch.
Grande wants to stall.
Bong has Grande pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Grande manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Bong blocks an elbow strike from Grande.

Bong is trying to trip Grande. He has hold of a leg but Grande is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bong persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Bong thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bong postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Grande is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bong, into his guard.
Grande wants to get up but he can't break Bong's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Bong has his foot on Grande's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Grande works his way back into a safe position though.

Bong has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Grande is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bong.

Grande stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Bong shoots for a double leg takedown but Grande sprawls well. He's pushed Bong's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Grande tries to close the distance and clinch but Bong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Bong is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bong shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Grande manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Grande gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bong working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Grande doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Grande manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bong had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Grande defends it easily.

Grande got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bong has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Grande has managed to get both his arms back between Bong's legs - danger averted.

That was a close second round but I would say that Taco Grande will probably get the nod.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

I would just about give that final round to Billa Bong.
