Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carl Menger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Develen Elvington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Menger comes to the cage accompanied by Bring Back The Music - by Sweatshop Union. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Develen Elvington enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carl Menger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Develen Elvington!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menger tries to clinch but Elvington moves out of range.
Menger ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Elvington moves away.
Elvington looks to throw the jab but Menger is out of range.

Menger drives through and clinches with Elvington against the cage.

Menger turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Menger throws an elbow but Elvington slips to the side and avoids it well.

Menger tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Menger has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Elvington takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Menger lands with an uppercut that bounces Elvington off the cage and back into range.

The fight stays on the outside here - Elvington looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Menger shoots for a double leg takedown but Elvington sprawls well. He's pushed Menger's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Carl Menger will probably get the nod.
