Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gichin Funakoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Keystone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Funakoshi comes to the cage accompanied by Martial Art Drum Beat. Keith Keystone will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gichin Funakoshi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keith Keystone!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Funakoshi. That's going to slow Keystone down.
Keystone slips a jab and a cross from Funakoshi.

Keystone throws a jab but it's blocked by Funakoshi.

Keystone is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

and Keystone counters with a nice uppercut.

Funakoshi throws a hook but Keystone avoids it easily.
Keystone gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Keystone swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Funakoshi gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Keystone to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Keystone wants to pass the guard but Funakoshi is keeping the position.

Keystone has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Funakoshi is trying to escape the position but Keystone is controlling the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Keystone tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Keystone has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
You can see the frustration on Funakoshi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keith Keystone dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Keystone tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Funakoshi was well out of range. Poor timing from Keystone.

and Keystone takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Keystone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Funakoshi.

Keystone might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Keystone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Funakoshi circles away quickly and effectively.

Keystone slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Keystone seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Funakoshi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Keith Keystone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Keystone has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
