Merlin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cant be Touched. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadow lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Injun Merlin has been cut.
No joy there for Merlin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Merlin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shadow circles away.
Merlin dodges the punch combination from Shadow.
Shadow misses with a double jab.
Merlin shoots in but no luck this time.
Shadow lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Dick Shadow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shadow throws a right hand that Merlin ducks under and follows up with a left that Merlin also avoids with ease.
No luck for Merlin with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Injun Merlin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shadow drops Merlin with a straight right hand, right on the button! Shadow follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
