PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Larry Glover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glover rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Winchester moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Winchester misses with a takedown attempt - Glover sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Winchester is trying hard to land a takedown here. Glover sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Winchester closes the distance and clinches up with Glover , looking for a takedown. Winchester pushes Glover against the cage but Glover circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Larry Glover has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dean Winchester.
The fighters circle momentarily. Winchester darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Winchester fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Glover avoids it really well and circles away.

Winchester throws a strike but Glover rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Glover would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Glover counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Winchester dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Glover . That did some damage!

Glover throws a body punch but Winchester moves out of range.

and Glover counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Dean Winchester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Glover smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Glover cracks Winchester with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Winchester drops back, looking for a kneebar! Glover looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Glover looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Glover !
Glover is looking to take a break and control but Winchester is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Winchester tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Glover easily slips into full mount!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Winchester shoots in looking for a takedown but Glover manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Winchester's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Winchester takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Glover scores with a one two! Winchester had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Glover with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Winchester to score with a decent uppercut.

Glover is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Glover clobbers Winchester with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Glover throws a series of punches but Winchester avoids them all with ease.

Glover wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Glover lands with a big left! Winchester is wobbled badly! Glover comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Winchester to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
