The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jamison tries to clinch but Hamed is having none of it.
Hamed tries to land a front kick but Jamison steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hamed shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jamison as he jumps to the side.

Hamed closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Jamison sneaks back into half guard.
Jamison wants to get back to full guard but Hamed has passed into side control.

Hamed is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jamison has escaped the position, nice work there.
Jamison can't do much from the bottom here.
What's Jamison going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.

Hamed advances nicely into full mount.
Jamison is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Hamed controlling the position easily from mount.

Jamison keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Hamed dominating with strikes here.

Hamed wants to finish this one by submission but Jamison is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hamed.
Hamed is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jamison can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hamed lands a big shot there that rocks Jamison but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Hamed is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Jamison is forced to tap! Great finish!
