With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stoneface McGillicutty!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGillicutty throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McGillicutty fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McGillicutty throws a right hand that Roussimoff ducks under and follows up with a left that Roussimoff also avoids with ease.
Roussimoff shoots for a double leg takedown but McGillicutty sprawls well. He's pushed Roussimoff's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Roussimoff lands a head kick. McGillicutty smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Stoneface McGillicutty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roussimoff moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
McGillicutty tries to clinch up.

Roussimoff closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McGillicutty to the mat! McGillicutty manages to get full guard.
Roussimoff has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of McGillicutty is proving hard to escape from.
Roussimoff trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Roussimoff throws and elbow that misses. McGillicutty uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Roussimoff's guard. Nice move by McGillicutty!

Roussimoff pushes McGillicutty off and scrambles back to his feet.
Roussimoff misses with a takedown attempt - McGillicutty sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Roussimoff lands a head kick. McGillicutty smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Roussimoff shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McGillicutty but McGillicutty pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yves Roussimoff. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Roussimoff could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Roussimoff dodges the punch combination from McGillicutty.
A head kick by McGillicutty misses

and Roussimoff counters with a nice double leg into side control. McGillicutty won't be happy with that.
