Maximus is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive. Brutus Maximus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winter moves out of range of the body kick from Maximus.
Winter stuffs the takedown.
Nice uppercut there from Winter.
Maximus scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Winter digs a good body shot into Maximus's ribs.
Winter lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Winter smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Maximus misses with the combination.
Maximus shoots in for a double leg but Winter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Winter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Winter wants it to stay on the feet.
Ricky Winter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brutus Maximus.

Winter drops Maximus with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Maximus looks back up at him and smiles so Winter waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
