Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Dwight Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armando Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dwight Howard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Armando Rodriguez!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard slips a jab from Rodriguez.
Howard ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rodriguez moves away.
Howard misses the jab.
Howard moves out of range of the strikes.
Howard throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Howard lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rodriguez circles away quickly and effectively.
A looping hook to the body misses from Howard. Rodriguez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Howard doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rodriguez misses with a straight left.
Howard swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rodriguez lands a jab to the nose.
It looks like Dwight Howard has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A punch lands to the side of Howard 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Howard is rocked!
Rodriguez connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Howard onto his butt! Howard bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
Oh Howard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Howard throws a big shot that misses.
Howard tries to bum rush Rodriguez with a series of wild strikes but Rodriguez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Howard seems to have got his legs back now.
Rodriguez scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Howard lands a nice looking body shot.
Nice defenses there by Rodriguez.
Howard is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rodriguez.

Howard fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Howard takes one to the side of the head.
Dwight Howard's cut is getting worse.

Rodriguez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Howard.
Howard looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Rodriguez slips under a jab from Howard.
Howard misses with a few strikes there.
Rodriguez lands with an overhand left.
Howard changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Howard thows a body shot but no joy.
Howard is breathing heavily.
Howard takes a swing at Rodriguez's ribcage but misses.
Howard misses with the combination.
Armando Rodriguez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Howard just misses with a punch to the body.
Rodriguez jabs at Howard's body.
Rodriguez catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Howard stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Howard walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rodriguez is looking to clinch but Howard is avoiding it.
Howard keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rodriguez.
Rodriguez wants to clinch up but Howard keeps it at a distance.
Rodriguez scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Howard beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
Dwight Howard's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Howard walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

Our winner, Armando Rodriguez, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
